Meet Rachael! Her family farm in the Loddon Valley of Victoria has been producing fine merino for the past 80 years.
Rachael has worked diligently to keep her supply chain in Victoria, and has managed to have Yuruga fleeces processed at one of the few remaining local businesses that will process raw wool into yarn.
The word Yuruga is an Australian First Nations word meaning “extensive view” and is the name of the property where Rachael's grandfather had his first shearing shed.
